Default Nurburgring Sep 2008 Pictures

Day was really awful when I set of at 6:45am. Pissing down all the way to Folkestone Channel Tunnel. Pictures attached

A bird to greet me as I checked in.

Met up with Ahned (met this guy who has the Carrera GT) at Total Garage in Calais.

Imagine a car that could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and 0-100 mph in 6.8 seconds, while 0-125 mph in 9.9.

Paul and his mistress cuddling up in the rain

Matt after visiting Dr.Nick for his "problem"

Some Porches we met at the Total Garage

Pissing down as we head towards the Ring

To be continued.......

Weather could have been better (especially for September!) but great weekend nevertheless

A really, really cool bunch of people on this trip. Great to meet up with old faces and new, and across various forums from the likes of EvoTechnik, BMWcarmag, E90post and BMWland. Lovely selection of cars

A few dry laps in between soaking ones but like always, laping the Nordschleife is always a thrill, especially when you get to test drive two of the best performance cars known to man! ......

.... Many thanks to Jerome and Doc for entrusting their pride and joy to moi, I got to 'test drive' an E60 M5 and a 996TT X50 properly Both cars insanely powerful but with very different characteristics.

What a trip...

Convoy down with the CGT, 996 GT2, 997TT x2... what a drive, although conditions weren't perfect.

Will get my pics posted up shortly.

Yet another great weekend at the 'ring. Completely knackered. Great to see plenty of old and new people there. Shame about the weather. Roll on '09
