Well, apart from being absolutely bloody soaking wet, freezing cold, and denied the opportunity to drive against the jet i didnt have too bad a day!

Jonx2c....howdy doody!! glad you could join up mate & sorry i busted the lotus but thats what i do

I watched the video footage from my camera which we had mounted on the headrest & there is a flash of a fighter jet as David passes it at around 160mph & in true lunatic fashion he kept the throttle nailed until the last split second. The person in the passenger seat by the way was Phil the jet pilots girlfriend!!!

I also thought id done some damage to my 540i after trashing a brand new pair of rear tyres donut stylee for almost an hour solid, i left it to rest for an hour to be greeted by a nice cloud of oily smoke when i started it up again.......175,000 miles & an hour on the red line probably isnt the best combination but its the best excuse i can think of for a rebuild & supercharger

I'm sure Paul or Roy still remember a quote I heard. Not sure who said it (think it was his mum) but it was while Give was doing donuts in the banana.

It was along the line of "He used to do that since he was a kid.....he killed an engine as well"
