I'm thinking about fitting a shorter aerial from a S2000 to my cab. Has anyone done this before and is reception affected by this?

Quite a fe people have done the 'bee-sting' mod. As far as I'm aware nobody has mentioned a reduction in reception.

When I had my cab I shaved the aerial so that the car was smooth and had absolutely no problem with reception, to be honest it was better than in most cars, so replacing the oem one with a smaller one should be fine.

bought mine from bimmian...its works fine..and looks a lot neater i think!
