hi everyone

its been a while since i been on this forum, just never got a chance to put pictures of my car, even though i have been working on and asking for help from you all. anyways, heres a few old pictures which i just took of my phone. in th epictures the car looks pretty much stock,
List of what i have done so far
Hamann suspension
M3 mirrors
Pioneer AVIC (amp, subs) with custom centre trim
SSDD 1st Geb Angel Eyes
Clear lights all around
ECIS CAI kit
Original 18" MV wheels

To do:
Mtec bodykit (waiting to have it painted)
maybe change exhaust (back box)
looking for a different set of 18's

Hi Bro,

Really nice car you have kept it clean looking, to be honest, I would have gone with M-Tech, with a few mod's, like flush lip on the front etc.

Will look even better with the new kit on though.

what do you think will be the best option to get rid of the chrome? Paint it? the black trim from BMW is so expensive and i rather use that money for other mods. or has anyone done the black-out tape mod like the e46fanactics site :D

I would say try the black out mod first obviously because it's the cheapest option :D , if that fails then just get it painted by a good bodyshop.

no secret bro, just trying different types of wax's

some, of the pictures are with the zymol wax, and alot of elbow power

some (the ones in the care park) are using some cheap turtle wax and a power buffer

however, seeing some good results and feedback about the poorboys stuff, i will be now their polish and wax (the natty blue paste wax is amazing, gives you that deep wet look shine)

I think the black out tape mod was done by someone on here and a write-up may have been done. Try the search function to see. I actually got M Style to change mine for the genuine shadow trim. You could get your existing chrome trim painted but I prefer the matt finish. The gloss finish is the standard sport trim though so it would still look good.

Looks good, black kidneys will give you a major difference along with the Mtec kit you are installing...plus if can get some 19s you wont regret it, ride difference is hardly noticable, and looks are uncomparable...

i would change the chrome trim, but not the black kidneys....

i got my black kidneys last week from pete323, and put them on - they honestly lasted about 20 seconds - form closing the bonnet till i opened it up quickly again - cannot believe i didn't like them, but i have to say, my Imola Red 330Ci just did not suit them!
