Just had a new ice install fitted by my man Andy P of Ice Cold Audio. [ok

As Fas will testify, Andy's work is of the highest standards and quality. Aswell as being a top bloke, Andy will always ensure that you are completely satisfied with the final finish and sound, no matter how long it takes. :D

New setup as follows:

2 x 10" JL Audio 10w3 voice coil subs
Pheonix Gold zx475ti Power Amp
JL Audio vr650csi component speakers (replaces front speakers)
Alpine multi media manager

Stripping out the car

The "power" of the setup (Pheonix Gold zx475ti)

Sub enclosure (2 x 10" JL Audio 10w3)

The "brains" of the install fitted flush into where the ashtray and cigarette lighter previous sat [cool (Alpine multi media manager)

Final boot finish (with cut away display to reveal the LED lights on the amp and a cut away display prespexed with Pheonix Gold PG logo)

Andy is looking to expand Ice Cold Audio with Flex BMW (whats up Flex, when's the next Lahores mission?) and if you are looking to have some Ice installed, give them a call to see if they can help.

The bass that the 2 JL's give out is very impressive and drops pretty low. We're going play around with the multi media manager to set up the overall sound in the car to exactly how I like it [jam

I'll post some more pics when I get a chance

For Andy's number, PM myself or Fas [ok

Yea man was cool seeing ya [cool. I sourced another ground loop isolator but this time its got rid of it 90% I only hear it really quietly over 3000rpm rpm now. Andy's going to go over it next week before i strip everything out and bin it. Also going to talk about my boot install :).

Wot up Fas [hiya

I think our installs are great examples of Andy's work, we both trusted him completely with our cars and the man has done good [cool real good [jam

For others out there I just wanna say that Andy is extremely dedicated and serious about his work and takes great pride in making sure it looks and sounds as good as possible (obiviously within the limits of how much you want to spend on a ice install). One of the best things about Andy is that nothing is too much trouble to ensure you are completely happy with everything.

I see Andy and Flex as good friends of mine, they are both very professional and top geezers [bow

I'm sure mine and Fas' car are the first of many great installs from Ice Cold Audio. [cool

Whassup guys......i was there for 80% of the time the install was beeing built, and also when andy was getting headf*cked about the box and how he would make it fit in the micro boot of the vert without compromising SQ

Steve got an install and an amp that is the bollox, and it sounds better than it looks!

and he pulled i off!

Big up to him , imma bell him now and make him see this thread......

NIce to see the appreciation.

They are pretty loud speakers, gives you a lot of vocal up front :D Are you having anything else installed?

why dont you get 3 10's ;)?

BeemerBoy888
07-04-2005, 06:55 PM
Kav, the 10's drop pretty low. We're going to adjust the multi media controller to tweak the overall sound :D

12's might be a little tight in the vert if you want a bit of boot space left
