Here are some photos of the (inter-forum) Lakeside meet that took place on Sunday that I thought would be worth sharing here too. I believe some of the cars (eg Aded's vert) are members of Evotechnik too.
The meet was dominated (unsurprisingly) by E46s, however there were also a couple of E39s, a E38, some E36 and even an E60 tourer. At one point it looked as though an 840Ci was going to join the party, but it turned out he was merely there to actually use the services!
Despite the claims of the 3 Series being dull and all looking alike, these cars were anything but. Some great displays of modding all round as you will see.

We were also joined be a couple of E36s, but they seemed to shy away from us, maybe we smell? Who knows!? Speaking to the owners, the dakar yellow M3 is from the E36 coupe forum and the red vert, originally a 320, now has a 3.0 litre E36 M3 lump in it!

Who said white cars and rainy grey climates don’t mix? Well I did, until I saw this stunner. Really really great looking E46 tourer. The colour highlights all the right details perfectly. Nice.

And here pictured with a subtly modded E39.

How many BMW owners does it take to sort out some headlight washers… :p

Of course it was worth breaking a couple of clips on the way to fitting the angels, the E46 330d looked great with Teddy's Gen 1s, the slightly bluer illumination complimenting the silver grey car perfectly! [ok

Speaking of which, when you have an E46 sometimes it can be struggle to make it that little bit more individual. There are many kits on the market to go for, the most popular being the M-tech sport bumper. If you’re after something a little but more exclusive and indeed subtle, why not go for BMW’s official tuner from Buchloe – Alpina. That’s what was done on this 330d and I think it looks ace. [ok

If you’ve ever doubted red on an E46, please check out this exquisitely modded E46 330i (complete with great looking Xenons).

As I said, many different BMW variants at the meet, this was one of two E34s that attended (the other being a rather tasty M5 ;) )

A nice M-kitted out E39 with Breyton alloys. Unfortunately the front two were off being refurbed…

…which reminds me, I should really do something about those Alpinas. Those 15s are looking bloody small next to the MV2s of this nice vert!

Next to her more modern siblings, Kate2 was looking a little sorry for herself. She even tried to get in with the E46 crowd!
