Ive order some from ebay before but from my understanding they are not road legal, from what halfords said today it must have who made it and post code at the bottom its a legal requirement now
the one i had halfords do today had air bubbles in it
just dont want a crap looking plate, you see some cars driving around and you can see where its bubbled away from the acrylic and dirts got behind it i think it looks really tacky
Can you send off to dvla and get originals? ie better quality

Not so sure abput the post code bit - the ones I got done are road legal - and that what they advertise.
If you still aren't sure, Bushey Hall Garage (http://www.busheyhallgarage.co.uk) can make you up a set as can most local motor trade suppliers.
I went with the eBay ones - great quality, all machine done... here are the pics of them - they still have the protective film on top.

Its a legal requirement to have the postcode of the place that made the plate...that way checks can be done to make sure they noted all your documentation before supplying the plate.

The post requirement is not an issue with these guys, as the ad says..
"ALL OUR PLATES ARE MADE AND DISPATCHED FROM NORTHERN IRELAND HENCE NO DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED"
Works for me.... [cool
Don't forget to order their fixing kits - all the right coloured screwcaps...

Make both legal and show plates. :)
I tried Fancy Plates before the last Ring trip....and basically got ripped off.
I ordered over the site but never recieved my plates and I was charged on my credit card. Sent emails and left messages but never got a reply.
This is just my experience ive had with them....

I used them once, never had any probs. Only thing is that they were slightly long in their delivery time.
