Okay need some advise, my 2001 M3 is running original CSL alloys (235 Front, 275 Rear) with standard dampeners and Eibach springs.
I feel it needs to be a little lower so was looking at replacing the Eibachs for Teins. So the question's are do I need to replace the standard shocks with something like Koni's or will the standard shocks be okay.
The cars done just under 40K miles.
Was also thinking of adding wheels spacers I like the flush look so suppose that needs to be considered with the lower teins ie. is it arch rolling time?
The car is used for daily driving although hoping to do a few track events a year.
Thanks in advance for any advise.

personally I dont like spacers, as in theory the will put more stress on parts, however, if you have the correct bolts (i.e. longer ones) and the spacers arent like 2cm think then you should be fine...
As for your suspension, that all depends on the wear and tear of your oem suspension, have you considered a set of coils, this way you can adjust it to the exact height you want and the kit will be made to be driven low...

Spacer wise i think i'd be looking for 10mm all round with longer bolts.
Is anyone running spacers on here?
With regards coilovers ive had coilovers on every car in the past on the E36 i had Pss9 and the 200sx I had Teins.
From experience coilovers are just too hard for me and everyday driving, im hoping the Tein springs and dampeners will provide a nice balance of lowering the car and also providing a little improvement on the driving experience.
So are we to say if the stock dampeners are ok I could simply replace the Eibachs with the Teins and then get it all aligned? Or would their be any major benefits replacing the dampeners at the same time and paying the additional amount?
Im not too keen on going down the coilover route but i agree for lowering to your exact spec and getting the best driving experience then they are the way to go, i just want a balance if that makes sense.
Regarding suspension, I would say if the car has 40K miles on it now, you might as well change the shocks at the same time as this will save you cash in the long term. Plus, if you are changing both shocks and springs then you may want to consider coilovers depending upon budget.

You could get a set of KW V1's they arent hard at all, or go for the V2's as you can adjust the stiffness...
