That airplane pic is scary as hell. I fly about once a week and looking out the window to see that, I'd start to cry and need a new pair of pants

The first one has got be my worst nightmare :eek: :eek:
Flying in to Newark a few weeks ago 10ft off the floor captain put full throttle on and had to pull out of the landing :eek: :eek: :eek:
turned out it was too windy, but to say it was quiet on the plane for the hour it took circling to get another slot is an under statement apart from the people being sick that is.

I had a similar experience coming into Heathrow, came down over the M25 from the west, past the perimeter fence and then pulled out of landing abt 20ft off the ground, as aparently there was another aircraft on the wrong runway... that was in a fully loaded 747-400 !!

Scarey shit, not really up on plane sizes :confused: ours was a 767, I believe the New York airports are quite bad for wind delays. I actually thought the wheels hadn't come down :eek: :eek: it took the captain 5 mins to tell us it was the wind.

ive had that happen 2 me about 4 times! not cool and ive had a few scary 1's landing in edinburgh...
