ended up getting a navman 510 from the link below which i think is well cheap if your just looking for an introductory sat nav system.

dude, can you post up a review when you get it? If it works great, I'm all over it, especially at that price.

ive read 20-30 reviews before purchasing it from all over and all are very good !! basically halfords sell it for £320
Yea its got 2004 maps as opposed to 520 with 2005 maps but all reviews say it makes no difference
I bought one asap to make sure i dint miss out.
There is an upgrade for 99 quid with the 2005 maps and european maps if in time a year down the line you want to upgrade. defo worth a look fas.
