Hi...

If i swap my side lights for bonekers PIAA TERRA LED lights (they come with ballast packs and everything...they are mental brights), will my car complain that i have a blown bulb?

I have a 2003 E46..im not sure if it checks side lights as well as main lights?

(the bulbs are about 55 quid, and involve wire chopping so dont want to prototype!)

Thanks

Steve

Yep it will show a fault. Some resistor packs can be 'crimped' onto existing wires which means you don't actually have to cut them.

You could always just cable tie your exisitng sidelight bulbs to the engine bay and just leave them on (great at night if you open bonett, lol) This way a fault will not show :D
