Been doing some calculations, with my spec, 545 is freaking expensive.....530 I'll have over £10K to mod the car........But I still want a V8!! :mad: .....I should wait for a used 545i. Want to see your Estoril beast first :p :D

There are quite a few 545i SE in the 2nd hand market, most have around 6000 miles on them and already lost £12k on their original cost. £36,000 buys a good spec model but all of them comes with auto!!! :mad: :mad: .....I've got a feeling unless I buy new, a 6-speeder might not come my way :confused:

Mods are already planned out :D , Hamann Sport kit, Eisenmann twin 76mm exhaust, Eibach springs, Hamann Anniversary 1 wheels and a pair of front BBKs...and I'll have my dream 5.

Finally I like the new 5 series. Love the rims, and the shadow grill on the front. I like it. All it requires IMO is some wing mirrors. Maybe the new M5 ones!

Actually, I think the stock mirrors go very well with the E60. It's a car with sharp angles unlike the more bubbly E46, the squarish mirrors compliment the design lines very well.

I too think you'll struggle to find a non-auto 2nd hand with the spec you want. I think the majority of buyers are requesting the auto, a bit like most Jaguar XJ buyers.
I keep checking autotrader for 330Ci sport and 60% are autos!!!!! :eek:

What about an import.......big savings?

I can order a car direct from Hamann but the main attraction of buying a big engined 5 is seeing the first owner swallow the gut wrenching depreciation. Like you said, may have to settle for an auto.
