HK Size

Does anyone know the size of the HK front door speakers in the M3, I'm getting shot of them and want to look around at the market.

Andy's currently looking into a set-up for me but I'm a internet junkie and like to look for myself too.

Or is it a simple case of measuring the speaker grill and that's the size that I'm after???

The HK front speakers are 6.5inch, Andy will make you some adapter plates for a direct replacement, if you get off the shelf adapter plates, you'll be forced to go smaller when there really is no need.

I don't see any reason why Andy couldn't fabricate something to fit, they're only 1/2 inch bigger so shouldn't be an issue

Spoke to Andy this evening dude, those speakers are a no go. The depth is too much for the doors and they're not going to fit

Oh well, I'm sure Andy will sort me out with the best available anyway.
