lol ....it's not an easy job to do properly , as not only do the wings have to be cut out , but an indented "box" has to be formed on the inner wing, as well as brace welding around the new aperature in the outer wing .

if you dont do it this way , then the side grill and its surround stick out too far and look awful , and the structural integrity of the outer wing is compromised ( I think i have been watching too much star trek lately :))

Just look at all the complaints a certain Stafford firm got over last few years from them fitting M3 grilles without welding or bracing , sticking out the wing by 20mm too much :(
