:confused: i'm after a plate for my m3 - it some thing I wanted to for ages.
sort thing i'm going for M3 KYU (it my daughters name) Kaiya
but some people say that why advertise the fact it an m3 it just tacky
but i'm not so conveniced - what do the you the experts think??
Thinks its kool man go for what you want not others. People told me why you getting your name on the plate get something else like a word or something but i got what i wanted

moe - I think your spot on - I wish I could get my name plate - but would cost a small fortune - for 250 quid i think that cool

Just get what you want, if its a reference to the car and your daughter then why not.

I think the phrase private plate sums it up. It doesnt have to mean anything to anybody but you.. ;) go for whatever tickles your fancy. I say forget what any1 else says and just get ;)

The plate on my tourer is my daughters name! I had to get it to save it for her when she starts driving:)

I managed to get my name from DVLA website for £250 :D

Thats nice, my dad got me my plate for my 21st. I'll never get rid of it.

thanks guys - yeap - sod it - i'm going to get it.
now - if I think about this logical when my 17 month daughter is old enough to drive I will have to give / buy her the M3 _NOT_
I wonder what sort of m3 will be out in 16 years time !!!!!

I love name plates....I have 2. Got a dvla auction next month so maybe will have a 3rd.
So yeah go for it..you'll only regret it later if you don't.

I've Never regretted buying any of my number plates.... Could be the reason I pay like £200 retention each year....

do you have to pay the retention fees even if the plate is on your car,
or only if you have the v750 and its not on your car yet

If your plate is on a car.. then your chilling, If its on retention then you have to pay £25 each year...
