A friend of mine was on his way home in his m3 the other morning, and sat at the lights a astra van pulled up next to him, he thought nothing of it, the lights changed and the van gunned it, my mate stuck his foot down but struggled to get past the van. They got to the next set of lights and both floored it, my mate had is foot right down and only just started to pull away from this thing, they continued and this thing was trying to take him round a roundabout on the outside at something like 80, my mate said it was lowered and had seriously been modded and thought it was the quicjest thing he has had a go at since getting his m3, R32, meggane sports, my 330ci nothing compared.

Astra van with a tuned z20let could push 400bhp if not more. 300bhp is easily had for about £1.5k of mods.

Biggest problem with tuned up z20let's and z20leh's is always going to be traction. FWD cars, that much power etc.

I had a tuned z20let in an astra coupe, although only took it to about 250bhp and that was with a tiny amount of mods. I had planned what to do to take it to 300bhp but just sold it instead lol. It was quick enough I thought for me!! Even with 250bhp it got a 14.1 run on a 1/4 mile which I thought was rather good.

This thing was a black lowered one, with tinted windows in essex area i think.
Seriously quick by all accounts.
