The mods keep coming..
So far ICE and front indicator clusters have been sorted together with PIAA bulbs..
It still needed some more external tweeks so decided to colour code the front clubsport spliters, and the rear splitter..bordem is a bad thing. Here are some pics mid project. Finished the spraying last night at about midnight. Just need to flat and buff the finish tonight and i'll post the results...thought id post these for a laugh now.
BIG QUESTION....should i now debadge it and remove the 330i???? :?
The guy in the pics is my mate scott who is a car spaying genius (used to be his job). All in all this cost me £37 to do 8)
Splitters removed and primed up after a decent rubdown and plastic primer prep:

u could take the 330 off it u watned, really easy... pour hot water over the letters, then with a flat head screwdriver covered in a rag, lever em off..
depends if u like em or not, i dont mind em on but like em off too!!!
I'm a big fan of de-badging as I think it always looks far cleaner. Just my 2p worth :D .

Yeah...im sure it will look cleaner with it removed...debaging always looks good.

Tough one isnt it mate. I debadged my mates E36 318 for him the other day and it looks loads cleaner...and because its only a 318 he isnt risking making it look lower specced....

A Hairdryer and creditcard works well too...done this on most of my previous cars...no risk of paint damage with a credit card :D

Brought the Sport front spoiler off a mate of mine all preped and ready for painting for £150 side skirts were £50.00 each from BMW just need preping and spraying which my mate's doin this week the fogs were the most expensive part at £47.00 each plus vat. If your interested in doing similar let me know as he is very good as he's been spraying and fitting parts\rebuilding cars since we was about 15 and he can source the parts from BM at trade and do the spraying and fitting for you at a good price.
Pete :)
