Hi guys,

Ive got a 2001 320Ci which I think has just the standard suspension. I am currently upgrading the bodykit etc to Mtech and am now looking at the suspension as I want it lower but I don't want the ride quality to be mega hard.

Who manufactures the Mtech suspension ? is it Bilstein as in I purchase the bilstein gas kit and its the same as the Mtech ? or should I just go for something else ? Eibach pro kit and dampers ?

Cheers

Pete :)

As far as I'm aware, if you get something like Eibach springs you can keep the oem dampers and you will get the lower ride and maintain the ride quality (near enough).

Could be wrong though, but I think a number of people have done this.

Thanks for the reply mate. I was thinking along those lines especially from a cost point of view but Ive spoken to Roy at CA automotive and he has suggested that as my cars done over 50k it would be worth upgrading the dampers aswell.

Cheers

By Mtec suspension i asume you mean the one which is fitted to the 'sport'. I've replaced the suspension on my 330 ci sport and have all the original springs and shocks if your interested.
