To me its like a football league table at the end of the season. It never lies. Over the whole season he was the best driver, full stop.

I have not missed a single race this season except for yesterday :( because I have a stomach virus and was sleeping waking up through out the day .... I even woke for 10 minutes and watched it a bit then fell asleep without knowing :( .... anyway congrats to lewis , Hopefully BMW will hit there set target for next year "Battle for the title" like they have hit every other target they have set since 2006

Was an awesome race and thoroughly deserved. If he couldn't handle pressure then he would have blown it like last year. The last two races were very mature, albeit a little boring from him. Obviously not including the last 3 laps pf the Brazillian GP

Immense, and unbelievably stressful to watch.

As soon as it rained again I could barely stand to watch the screen, and I was jumping and yelling when he took Glock on the last corner.

Exactly, if Glock came in for wet tyres, then he would of been behind Hamilton.

Good on him for wining. He should of won it last year, but he got screwed. I feel sorry for Massa and his family though. They were all cheering and celebrating, until the last 2 corners when hamilton passed glock.
Its going to be a good season next year. Ferrari, Hamilton, Alonso, Kubica, Vettel and amongst other top drivers, will be battling it hardcore ;)

Awesome race - Lewis should have one last year but I guess someone at Mclaren sabotaged the wrong car - you cant blame them Alonso was an arse.

Lewis was brilliant all year round and did what all racing drivers should do - raced to win every race - that is why F1 is exciting again.

Well done Lewis and well done Mclaren - We just need to get Jenson in there as his team mate to have a perfect line up for the brits - Would love to see some all England 1-2s

I think its unfair to suggest he cant hadle the pressure. He only has two seasons under his belt & in that time has broken many records. He handled all the pressure from the champion (at the time) in Alonso & effectivly broke him. And at the end of the day he is the British world champion & the first in 12 years. For all his mistakes we should be proud of his success.

But he is a jammy so & so for getting that bird from the pussy cat dolls!

Hamilton desrved the victory, especially after the way he was treated from the governing body for getting penalties he did not deserve, but know its all about next year, my money is going to be on Hamilton or Alonso and dont forget SLICKS are back

What about his awesome overtake mid way through going into the 1st corner, i was on the edge of my seat at that point till the end of the race.

He really pulled it together and played it safe which is all he needed to do

It was a superb race and full of excitement from the beginning. He certainly deserved it as others have said, and it always comes down to consistency. He has talent and a lot can't stand it. He finished more races better than Massa over the entire season, and that is what it is about. The fact he won the championship with all the hurdles purposefully put in his way just proves how good he really is.

Massa, whilst I don't have anything against him, isn't a consistent racer - to me he had flashes of brilliance in some races and in others was mediocre at best.
