View Full Version : leaking washer bottle
does anyone know how to remove the bottle as mines leaking i removed the 10mm top bolt but its still solid is there another bolt as i cant see where cheers for you help

I had to take the front right wheel off then removed the front inner arch lining. This gave full access to the bottle.You may not need to remove the bottle at all as most leaks associated with this is the rubber seals. Quick fix is to get plumbing tape but you might aswell get a new set as they are not expensive.

Had the same problem - you probably need to change the pump attached to the side of the washer bottle, £15-20 for the part, 10 minute job with a spanner from the toolkit.

Yeah i had my headlamp washers leaking, my car was under warranty at that time but as usual bmw said it was a common problem, I also had a problem with my board computer, they said the same thing "Common Problem"
