right iv been offered some alpina wheels and he's saying that its genuine? how can i find out if it is genuine...??
its 18"...
and this is the style..

check to see if the Alpina is embosed in the wheel, behind centre caps and secondly count the spokes and compare the number to original wheel

if the tyre valve is in the rim, fake. If the tyre valve is hidden under the centre cap. Real.
There's also a different number of spokes from fake to real, don't know the exact number, but the valve is the giveaway
If you were buying them from that place (Performance Alloys) then i'd say you could be pretty safe in the knoweldge that if the guys there said they were genuine then they would be.
I bought my LMs from there and they are top guys making sure I got exactly what I wanted - BBS German manufactured LMs in my exact offset (not the Japanese ones). Although they do cost more, I don't mind paying their prices for peace of mind!
You could always ask Performance Alloys for help in how to spot dodgy replicas.

IIRC, genuine Alpina's have 20 spokes, reps have 19 spokes.

tyre valve in the rim and there are code's inside the rim? (made in pgc?) and has various codes...
and it has 20 spokes...
