Having this fitted fairly shortly and can't decide whether to paint it or to leave it  ... (It's the full carbon fibre job)

Pics of unpainted can be found here:

and in this thread I started here a little while back:

Any thoughts??

Lol! This is just confusing me!

Here is my analysis...

Pros of painting- looks more 'finished', looks CSLesque, a bit more subtle

Pros of not painting- looks far more individual, painting carbon fibre defeats the purpose of carbon fibre, it breaks up the colour on the rear, I can still elect to have it painted if I hate it

It is the final sentence that is largely swinging my vote. I'm 51-49 in favour of unpainted! :p

Personally, I think the "outer" part looks odd, (probably better on a black car unpainted) looks best painted with the centre showing the carbon weave around the tail pipes on your car colour. Un-painted looks at meaner if u like the aggressive look.

just look like the body shop didn't know what they were going, therefore didn't paint it. If it's going onto a black or grey car then it will suit, any lighter and it will stand out like a saw thumb. If you have the diffuser best thing to do is ft it and ponder on the idea, the worst thing can only be that you have to take it off and get it painted.

I say if youre not sure put it on unpainted and see if you like it, I had mine on unpainted for a couple of months and now its painted (car is CB though).
