It arrived today of ebay. Not sure whether to leave it as a spoiler or to blend it in like on csl?

Any thoughts??

Personnally I'd blend it in, looks much better I think.

If you are painting to match your car colour or painting it something diff to look like car in far right pic.

Blend it if you are matching to car i think but leave it if you are just going to make it a contrasting colour.

Just my 2 cents

Agree...your car looks hard mate. Love the bonnet and wheels.

Blend it if you have the time and money to get it done. But as your car is black anyway, it won't look too bad if it were just fitted..

Gonna fit it on Friday and kind of see what it looks like before blendin' it. Will need to de-badge it also so that spoiler will fit.

Any ideas how to take rear lip off bootlid - is it just double sided tape???

Definitely blend it in. I would have suggested a proper 'CSL' bootlid but a good job with filler you can see a reasonably smooth fit.

BTW, swap the wing mirrors for OEM M3 items, IMO they kind of 'cheapen' a very well modded car.

Good plan. I would be very intereted to see one of these non-blended on a black car. It may be less noticable.

personally I would sell it on and buy a replica CSL boot lid. The cost of blending it in is going to cost as much as getting the boot replaced. Plus it will never look right. I've seen one of these items on a coupe and it just didn't look OEM when compared to my CSL boot lid. check US ebay and your find the whole item there.

Thanks I appreciate your comments and your honesty.

Thats the fun of moddin' for me -takin' a risk. Not trying to be a M3 or CSL 'wannabe', nor for a mag feature, just building something unique to me and based on the cash in my pocket!!!!! Spoiler in carbon cost me £120. Fittin it is £20 as it stands. Including painting £220 total.

Will take some photos on Friday without blendin for your honest opinions. Thanks again

if the spoiler is in carbon, i'd get it blended in, paint it except for the tip of it - leave that carbon for a differnt look
