The original exhaust tip needs to be cut off and the new one welded on. I think they could also fit other models but I haven't tried.
It really does look very good teddy... nice work there mate.

sorry guys a bit more information here for you. Just been told by the supplier to make this tip fit 6 cyl models you will need to get an adaptor or modify the back box to fit because it only has one inlet at the back.
Fitted picture will be similar to this:

hmm just tested it on a facelift 318ci and the tip didn't fit. The tip has a 53mm inlet pipe which fits pre-valvetronic cars with 1.9 engine. Valvetronic 2.0 318 (like Big Fas) has a 60mm tip and this is too small for it. :(

so can you make it fit by any other way??

it can be adapted to fit any car therefore professional installation is highly recommended. You need a good exhaust specialist to do the welding for you.

S**t!!! I really want one of these.
I have a '97 325 TDS SE which has a 53mm pipe which bends down (not necessarily a problem) but right where the bend starts theres two exhaust hangers so couldn't cut the pipe to bolt one of these on as there's not enough straight pipe.
Have an m3 bumper with twin cutout to fill, oh well guess it'll be £300+ for a rear box!

two stripes, the exhaust tips are actually universal and fitting usually requires cutting and welding. The new one needs to be welded on, the tips on your old backbox needs to be cut off, and sometimes a bridging tube needs to be made also. Sounds complicated but really any decent exhaust fitting garage should be able to fit it for you in about 45 minutes.

Cheers Teddy - will look into it, guess it would be better to buy a new exhaust and have it welded to that rather than an old one?

really depends on what you want, I'd say go for a new exhaust. If you want Eisenmann one give me a shout.
Can you see the "ACS" logo clearly, or does some of it come under the bumper/diffuser?
I'm interested Teddy... whats the score with the latest price please dude?
You can PM if you like
Are there any other ACS tips around too?
:)
HOLY CRAP 4 year old thread dude :p

they would not fit straight onto M3 tips...you need to cut and weld to make sure they sit at the right angle.
HOLY CRAP 4 year old thread dude :p
I know, didn't see the point in making a new thread!
A lesson for noobs... this is how you use the search function! lol :p
