i had finally dismantled my projector46 today after i bought it in may.
i had it first put on in june when it finally arrived, but failed the MOT becos one of the bulb had fail to work on that day.
Had to go back home and change it back to oem housing and went to get the MOT again.
Ask Umnitza for another replacement bulb and they send me a pair :) thanks to matt for the great service.
then i put them on again and realised the beam pattern was incorrect for UK roads.
did search and some email but was unable to find the solution.
there is some early version of projector46 which had a lever that you can switch the pattern for UK roads but mine hasn't.
so i took the projector46 off again.
after a long search in the hidforum.
i decided to take out the metal shield in the projector,
the metal shield is a curved shape, so i had to first hammer it flat then bend it to the opposite direction, trimmed the top part, turned it around and fitted all back in to have the beam pattern pointing to the right direction.
i will be once again put the projector back on tomorrow to see if i got it sorted out. :o
