The rear of his car must have been jumping in tact with the music :D :D
Styler, are you gonna have something similar with your 1000/1 mono amp?
What subs are they? Just W1? Or the old W3s?
Need more details mate.
However 3 subs is often overkill. The resistance they pump out means unless you have a HARDCORE amp that 2 subs will be better. In this case for instance, a 1000/1 powering them would not be sufficient especially if they are the old DVC subs.
I'd recommend 2 W6s myself ;-)
pps thats based on a seal boot which I guess the above one is, because the subsare facing outwards. If its a coup with a ski hatch, then it changes a bit.
My hatchback with 2 W3s is insane :D You would not want more bass, well - unless you didn't like your ears and you particularly enjoyed needing the loo after they rumble your breakfast out of yourself :p :p

True, but that install is on a vert, and with the roof down you lose a LOT of bass. I run 3 10W6 subs forward-facing through the ski hatch and I get to hear my bass on the motorway with the roof down. ;) The 10s are much punchier than 12s, which helps too, but I couldn't fit 12s in with the roof holder even if I wanted to so it's just as well.

Oh I'm well aware mate. Thats why I said to go for 2 12s or similar if its a sealed boot being dealt with. Makes a mahooosive difference.
I'm not sure I could ever have a vert as my daily runaround because I'd just miss the boom boom too much.

I have two 8" JL Audio subs.
Obviously nowhere nearer to 10" or 12", but its more than enough for me :D
Its not the size that matters alex, its how you use it ;)
1x 8W7 >>>>>>>>> 3 or 4 12W1 ;-)
