do any after market headunit screens work with bmw changer?

thinking about some ICE but want to keep cost down.
As my bmw head unit has a 6cd changer linked to it (bmw) but it is made by alpine will a after market alpine head unit (motorised screen) work with it?

If not has anyone got any ideas how to get some kinda visual in my car but keep cost down. say visor screens or summot?

some alpines work with bmw changers , but i think the convertor thingy is like £60..
might aswell change it if u have 1 already...

no they definatly wont work.
you are right in that they are alpine changers but they are made for bmw and they have their own set of connections
you will have to change the cd changer aswell
