Just seen the shots of the new Scirocco, got to say I really like it. May be slightly biased as my dad used to have a fully loaded limited edition model of the original (which when i was 8 seemed like the coolest thing on earth) and i had the supercharged corrado in my late teens but even still i think it looks the nuts and if pricing is gonne be around the same mark as the MkV Gti with 200bhp and a new 4 motion system i reckon it's gotta be a winner all round.

What do you guys think?

That first pic makes it look a tad on the small side...

the concepts.. front and rear were more impressive, they should have left it the way it was. now it looks a little boring 2 be honest.

From the back looks like an improved astra sporthatch. Compared to the mkV pretty good looking otherwise

looks the nuts, reading the reviews the real thing should be very very simular to the concept. It it is it will be a hit as the looks hit home and are modern. Just wait unit the R32 equivalent comes out.

Find the videos on Youtube of it moving on the road... total waste of time if you ask me. It's not a coupe, it's just another Golf with a different bodyshell. Very disappointing IMO.

Here you go...

looks ok, but as it is a VW it just means it will break a lot and spend a lot of time on the back of recovery trucks!

cheers

I loved the old one...

This one I was hoping would bring back that madness,

this is just a frikken golf dressed up and unless they give it a GTi engine i dont think it will be much cop either,

Like the wheels though ;-)
