V31 software update? MK4 sat nav

anyone installed V31 software update? I managed to get hold of 2008 01 DVD today, but just saw the V31 software update on the web.

I'm gonna try my luck at it a see what happens, just wondering if anyone had tried it? Not sure if V31 actually exists :confused:

i have it, it works well. its a little bit faster now. you have speed cameras on your 2008 dvd? do you want me to put a picture of your car on your start up screen?

i just installed it! you get the cool BMW logo now on startup hehe. Is the system more stable with the update?

I don't have speed cameras on mine, but you can add them. I read a thread about it seems a bit of a pain in the arse. I have speed cameras on my 2007 DVD so maybe i can copy the bits over i need.

Have you got a picture of your car on yours? I might try that later at some point.

I have v31 installed, like XKaLiBaR says feels a little faster.

Will V31 only work with the later DVD Nav ?

Think it should work with yours Jay, what MK is your sat nav unit?
