Which CCFLs have you got? The next gen ones or the original ones?

I think you have to do something funny with the original ones on the E46, but I don't know, someone in the know will be along shortly. :)

Did you leave both of the sidelight bulbs in when you wired up the halos? You'll need to do this and just cable tie them inside the engine bay out of sight.

No I never, thanks for the advice !!! [cool

No sweat dude, you can check fairly quickly by just popping the bulbs in and trying the switch again before you tie them down, but 99% that'll be it.

Post again if you have probs, I'm board-camping off and on with my laptop in front of the telly lol, we'll get you halo'd in time for the Monday morning drive to work :D.

so have u got this sorted out? i thought the invertors on the new ccfls come with in-built resistors to cancel out these warning lamp...anyway...as Chaos mentioned, try it with bulbs inserted.

Stock, I believe Tubs has the original CCFLs and so he has to do the work around as previously mentioned.

yes mate have u got it sorted out? You need to leave the sidelight bulbs in so you won't get warning lights. Otherwise you can get a couple of resistors to do the trick.

nice seats! [cool
