Are these any good? Ive heard alot about them? If i can get a new one at the right price should i take it? Thing i like about this is, it can be mounted anywhere as it has a seperate gps receiver. Also i dont like units such as the RA2 dont tell you what the speed limit actually is!

Appreciate your opinions guys!

Does the Orgin B2 tell you the speed limit of the road you're on?! I wasn't aware of that, I've always wondered when someone would do it, but thats cool.

yes it does for almost all A , B and M roads and most urban 30 mph limit roads ..its the nuts :)

Didn't like mine much - got rid of it after 3 months and now have Road Angel2

Although I preferred the screen on the B2, I prefer the warnings on the RA2

i've had the b2 for 1 1/2 years now.. its just amazing.. and is really usefull and helpful. lovely screen and soooo easy to use.. and wen paired up to lrc100 you are invisable ;);)

i have an origin b2 hard wired into my car so there is no wires and u can just walk away with it like its a pager everynight. its really good and reliable.

mines is fitted 2 the right of my steering wheel above the fan slightly facing me. saves clutter and gets rid of that ugly cluttered look every1 has.

its the smallest speedtrap detector ive had yet. might even be the smallest 1 out.

Can you unclip it from the cradle and take it with you then? Having something worth that much sitting in the car would worry me slightly. If you can that is spot on.

the origin b2 unclips from the dock. and its just a bit bigger than a pager. i take mine out everynight.

a very good product, my best seller by far. the neatest looking on the dash. the only one that is smaller is the micro road pilot but it doesnt have as much info on the diplay as the origin b2.

current retail price £449.99 but i'm pretty sure you can find it cheaper.

yeah u can get it for about £360-£380 somewhere.. cant remember.. and u get 6 months subcriptoin with it (updates etc..) then its £50 a year after..

They're on ebay "new" for about £240, not sure I would trust that though..

Bring forth the Origin B2 Group Buy!!! :p

Don't have the money for it atm, but I am mightly impressed by it. Just the current speed limit function is very useful let alone everything else. I think it'll have to go on the wish list. :o

One thing puzzles me though, how does the cradle attach to the car? Is it feasible to stick in the bottom right corner of the windscreen to the right of the steering wheel, or does it not stick to glass or bend that way or something?

best place to attach cradle is top of dash or side of centre cosole , uses samll screws or teh supplied sticky pad

sorry i forgot all about this... a few pics 2 show size and where i installed no screws no damage and doesnt clutter my dash or get wires everywhere.

theyre mega, mine installed just to the left of the dash and the wire goes into the console by the air vent, really good, get 1!!!
but i've just sent mine off cos the screen stopped working, but they gave me 6 months free subscription cos of the hassle! so cant complain, just got to take it easy for a while

lol nice 1! yeah mines is into the console 2 no mess no rattle and never falls off im well chuffed with mine.
