My mate is trying to sell his M3 convertible and was offered £18k in P/ex for a 4.4 2005 X5. He wants a little biy more than what the dealer is offereing

If anyone wants a rare coloured M3 conver and willing to pay more than what the dealer offered please let me know.

18k is about the right money for an 03 on that mileage. Sellers will always want more, buyers will always want to pay less. Depends if someone desperately wants an imola/beige one really, other than that he's been offered the right money.

the beige looks a little odd with red and it is winter

Been looking on pistonhead and for 18k you get higher mileage and the normal silver or black with no satnav. i believe if somebody wants a different looking M3 they would pay more for it.43k miles is very low for a 2003 car.

I think that looks gorgeous! Champagne leather on red makes an amazing contrast and I can't say I've seen that combo before. No idea on pricing, but just wanted to say good luck with the sale.

I got £17k for my PY M3 with 57k on the clock, august 93 registered, HK, bluetooth and not much else. £18k is way off the mark. There is an easy £20k in there PX.

Beemarman, IMC have had that car for sale since July when I started looking, the price has been dropped a few times also.

On the other nd I rekon a main dealer would put that up at £23K so you should be looking for £19.5-20K from them really.

In a private sale it has to be worth £21K to someone, its just a matter of waiting `till that someone or Spring comes along.

Thats an awesome colour combo. `tho. ;)

£19k is a fair price for a beautiful car like his. However, it also depends on how the interior has worn over the years. Champange leather can get a bit tatty sooner than conventional darker colours.

However, a vert with no heated seats can be a turn off to some. The spec and colours do make up for it though.
