My cigarette lighter has packed in!
What could be up with it? have they got fuses?
It worked and now it dont?
I dont smoke but i need it for my sat nav and other various things i charge while im on the go.
Im leaving for Manchester Monday and now i wont have Sat Nav!
Can anyone help?
It's a 2001 E46 Saloon. If it is a fuse, what number would it be?

probably a fuse, check the fuses in the glove box there should be a piece of white card with a diagram in there as well that shows you what fuses belong to what.

Use a map?
As suggested, check out the fuses. If you go into your fusebox, there'll be a diagram showing which one will be connected to your cig lighter. Using the tool (also in the fusebox), remove, you'll be able to see if the fuse has popped.

with repeated use of sat navs etc the prongs inside the socket can become bent out. You can adjust these by just bending them back in. But use something plastic!!

Or do it before you put a good fuse back in or you'll blow it again.
