the popo around here are hit and miss, sometimes they dont say anything it depends on the car, if its a boy racer looking car they pull u over, these are the same as i had on the bmw never had any issues with that...

Sometimes people get tints that are too dark and it can ruin the look of the car but i think 30% tints look perfect on the car. Excellent mod!:)

Looks cool man, 30% tints are just about right i reckon, dark enough to make a difference but still light enough that you can just about be seen in the car. Looks good dude. Do you mind me askin who did it for you and a rough cost?

Looking good mate.

Where about in Brum are you? I might have to tap you up for the tinters contact details...

I was recently quoted £300 for the rear windows only! (E46) The guy said not to risk cheaper options as the quality would be awful.

even without the tints those wheels are very nice and suit the car well. If i was to change them i'd still stay with mercs wheels unless you want to pimp it out and put lm's or hre's on it but that would change the look it has now to one slightly cheaper and boy racerish imo.

I was going to drop some 20" or 19" Carlsson rims on there.

personally i think it'll lose a bit of class to make it look faster. each to there own though. On my E430 i kept the 18" deep dish amg's on it and mr brother in law has the same wheels as yours on his w210

Good mod Sonny, like you said it's hit or miss with the plods. But you're quite right, Merc drivers are more likely to be left alone; a wafter is unlikely to cause any traffic nuisance ...... :D

AMG bodykit ..... ;) Suits your car perfectly. Freshens up the look to the more recent Sport model.

did he have any problems getting in to do the rear window? does you car have the same dot matrix thing around the edge of the screen which from what i've read on other threads is the thing that causes the problems.

70% is the lightest they do, it lets in 70% light with which is the law, dark smoke is 20%, 5% is limo black (what i got on my rear screen) and he does 30% 40% 50% and then 70%.
