hi guys
can't decide which ones to buy first, what would you guys recommend?
where is the best place for the springs?
how much for colour coded clubsport splitters? £76 at cooksferry but how much to get it colour coded?
is diy tint difficult?
i really like the hamann competition rear spoiler? ( £410 supplied only, exclude vat and paint at autovogue or £560 fitted and painted but i think it's also exclude vat ) but too steep for me.
it is also for sell in ebay for $300 but they want $250 for shipping charge.
I think that is ridiculous. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7916164448&category=33638
ps. nick, have you done your remote dde mods yet? :D
did you hook it to the footwell lights wire?
Mate for the price of that spoiler you might as well knock off the splitters and tints in one go.... Some might say do the most expensive first.
Doing tints yourself isnt that much of an issue but for peace of mind i would get a pro to do it. Wouldnt think that it would be to much $$$

did you buy the kit from jlevi or did you just bought the spdt relay and wires from maplins or any electronic store etc?
oh yeah, what is a 18 (gauge) wire? is it the thickness of it?
this is the type of wire they use in the states.
i couldn't find it in www.maplins.co.uk.
can i just buy any wire?
diy install looks pretty simple, just need to know which colour wire to tap into in the footwell light.

Si, did the install and it's piss easy. Just ply the foot well light out and tap into the positive wire. Done.
Get a set of lowering springs....you need them with the wheels you got on :p :p
Any pics yet!!!!!?????

thanks,
got quoted £145 for springs, £80 for labour and around £35 for aligment.
any good?
so would just changing the springs will wear out the standard shocks quicker?
so is it £90 each for the colour coded splitters from cooksferry?

Have you spoken to Kav? Maybe he can lower your car for less....Worth a try. Discount for Evotechnik members ;) ;)
If you opt for Pro Kit, your stock shocks will hold. Provided they are not shot already.
Splitters cost much about the same new everywhere.

at the end i decided on this, all becos after seeing posts from nick.
and you know what? i don't even know if it will fit my car.
the guy who sold it says it's for M52 engines but will also fit any e46 with the single pipe connection to the back box.
but mine is M44 318ci, but by the look of it i think it may fit becos of the single pipe at the end.
oh well, if it doesn't fit then i'll just have to resell it.
where can i get it fitted locally nick? how much do they charge for fitting any idea?
i think i will have to push my other mods till next month now
how much do you think KAV charge for fitting the springs nick?
now you're pushing me again, gonna be skint

nick or fas.
do you need to trim abit of the rear diffuser to make the twin 76mm pipe fit?

No trimming required. Fit is absolutely spot on.
