Faster than a 911 turbo (even the new 997). Faster than a Murcialago VT, and as fast (currently) as an LP640, soon to find out if it's actually faster than the LP640 as they're making another assault on the test track in a couple of weeks :D

had that very problem not bad though, but after spending 18k on the engine over the years i now have a FIA approved automatic fire protection all round the engine bay.

Yerr i was very close to getting a raider as a little toy however, i resisted the temptation insurance wasnt bad either 1400 on my own name!!!

I will look into buying a toy next year probably get a escort rs turbo, would love to have a pulsar but i dont see that happening while im a student

You don't like your C55? Is it a reliability issue or poor driving characteristics? I quite like the NA 55s and the CLK55 is one of my favourite cars.

Nick I personally hated the C55 reliability was fine it drove and handled terribly. Traction light was forever flickering on the dash when you put your foot down. Too much body roll abysmal handling. Its true what they say power is nothing without control.

1) 1994 Citroen AX GT first car, Oh how I hated it, went OK but was made from recycled foil take-away cartons.

2) 1995 VW Polo G40 (favorite car to date) supercharged with an AmD chip and smaller pulley, supersprint exhaust, and lowering spring 163bhp-158lb/ft, This started my modding habit off.

3) 1997 Mazda RX7 FD3 Type R1 wrote it off on a Diesel soaked roundabout :(

4) 2000 Subaru Impreza STi IV spent a small fortune on this, new engine alone cost £9000 but made 400bhp all day long and was capable 500+ with bigger turbo and injectors and the obligatory remap.

5) 2006 e46 M3 sold recently due to a new job with lots of travel.

6) 2007 VW Bora Tdi highline pd115 :o

7) 2008 ????????? something for the weekend ;)

3. Astra Mk2 - tried to fall apart but I kept sticking it together - blew the engine AND gearbox
