Hi Andy,
I want to fit an oem BMW changer in the boot of a Mini but I do not have any brackets/screws...I've heard that you can use velcro or something along those lines to securely fix it vertically on the right hand side of the boot but I am worried that one day it will get damaged by luggage etc. without going mental on brackets etc. what do u recon is the best method/place to install it?

hey bro,

the best way to secure a cd changer to the car is the way you mention, using velcro or screws but i know what you mean about the luggage. the way to solve that problem is by getting a "rabbit hutch".
this is like a bow section around the changer, made out of mdf and trimmed in the original material of the bootliner.
i can make you one of these for about £60.

hope this helps.
