Picked my car you today after have the bonnet painted, very pleased with the paint work but not with the return state of my car.:mad:

That looks better cleaned,why on earth would they give you the car back like that?:eek:

My bodyshop left my engine bay like that. I guess they dont wanna mess up your engine.
If they try to clean it.

No harm done, as long as they did a good job on what they got paid for. Body shops are dusty and I would rather them leave it if they did not know how to clean engine bays. :rolleyes:
Good job cleaning it back to normal...

I just blow it off with the air gun then a wipe down and then i used P21s wax then a good buff up. the results are worth all the hard work:D

Cheers M8, will give it a go, mine's not really dirty and all but wanted to give it a good go over to get it sparkling after seeing your last pic. What did you use on the tubes and rubbers?

window glass cleaner does wonders in cleaning engine bay and its cheap as chips :)

Using a small brush and back to black diluted down . on the tubes and autosol chrome polish on the chrome parts.;)

nice transformation :D :cool: you do know that your car is faster , and less things break whens its kept clean :) :D
