I finally got myself some gliptone cleaner and conditioner. All looks pretty straightforward apart from the drying time.
So, how long does it normally take for the seats to dry after the final application of the conditioner? I don't want to be sitting on towels :p .
Also, can you apply the conditioner straight after you have finished using the cleaner?

Conditioner straight after cleaning is fine, once dry. The Conditioner only takes minutes to dry once you've given it its final buffing. ;)
Gliptone and Croftgate products www.croftgate.com are simply the best products for leather out there IMO.

I used to cover my seats in the stuff on all my cars, every month or so, but soon got fed up of the smell (gets on your clothes as well)... :)

How do you guys apply Gliptone? I normally use a soft sponge or cloth. I have read on detailing forums that it's better to use a leather cleaning brush?
Also does anyone use the BMW leather conditioner? I have a bottle in the garage and used it when i first got my car but not sure if it's actually that good. Gliptone conditioner seems to be better.

Just gently wipe the conditioner down with a cloth and let it dry naturally.

what about the actual cleaner? Do you normally just apply and rub with a cloth or use a leather cleaning brush?

halfords leather cleaner is rubbish.
you need to be careful when using leather cleaner, as it could ruin your leathers if you dont put it on properly. if you have a lot cracks, with black dirt inside it, then you need something like a nail brush to get into the cracks.

Best leather treatment is Neatsfoot oil. it is used by saddlers and protects leather and keeps it supple for yrs, mate of mine is a tanner and he swears by it.
