1. Will OEM LED rears fit straight onto my 2000 E46 coupe??
2. My 330 uses a small amount of oil. Is this normal?? I'm aware of the nikasil recalls etc done on the E36 were there any recalls for the E46??
Cheers
Rob
1. Yes, but you will need a new LCM and a reflash costing another £250plus ontop of the price of the rear lights

1. do a search this topic has been discussed to death :)
2. its normal I would think got the engine to loose little amount of oil between service intervals . And no there were no nikasil issues with the 330 as far as I'm aware.

Coupe lights will fit, convertible ones won't as they are slightly different.
Whats your driving style like? A good caning here and there will use up a bit of oil.

My 330 used to use oil in random amounts..... ie it could go through a litre in a couple of weeks, and take several months to use the same amount. style/miles seem to make no difference. Had it checked, no problems. Just one of those quirky features, although I don't know if was a commom one!

whoaaa £450 for some lights is a bit steep haha
was just a bit concerned as I'm wary of leaving problems too long so that when they surface they do so with a big cost. I do have a lead foot from time to time but i also spend a lot of time just cruising on the motorway etc. As long as its nothing to worry about i dont mind
cheers guys

Hiya Robbie
Funny enough I got my LCM reflashed at Williams Liverpool today. The reflash alone cost me £67.50 Plus VAT on top of that.
Not sure how much the LCM is from there
Its worth it tho in my opinion
