More than just a tad miffed I would think,however spare a thought for the other driver in the Astra who was taken to hospital,coz his car certainly wont be going back on the road again,its smashed to pieces

Standing water can catch you out at almost any speed. We're quick to judge them, but it might not have been the Bugatti drivers fault (unless he admitted speeding:rolleyes: ). I almost hit a wall yesterday going about 35mph on a country road.

Hope both drivers are ok though. Insurance company will be pissed though, paying out for one of those lmao.

Million Euros but hey that's besides point - where is he gonna get another one from - they don't make them anymore and they are more second hand than they are new - so your million quid is probably spot on.

they havn't stopped making them yet I think as I remember a couple of months ago the Bugatti dealer here said that you could order one and get it after a couple of months.

I spotted this car outside the accident recovery yard's place and have a few pics of it on the truck. The recovery guy told me the car hit a ditch after aquaplaning near Shepperton - no mention of another car involved. Couldn't believe my eyes at first!

I've gotta say though - very surprised that an £800k supercar was stored out in an unsecured backstreet knackers yard in the open overnight with just a simple cover draped over it! :eek:

Another thing - maybe not the best idea to leave a driver-less truck's engine running with an £800k supercar on the back in broad daylight in our village with no-one around!

I'm not saying anything else on this now,because it seems that people are guessing who,when,what etc.I know exactly what happened .I have got another 5 pictures showing even more of the car than I originally posted,but I guess these will be worth protecting at least for the immediate future.I believe that the reason for the over interest from outside sources is because it is reputed to be the first Veyron involved in a serious smash.

Actually it wasn't stored at my place but at what was laughingly called a "specialist recovery" agent.At least in my place it would have been in a locked compound backed up by cctv;) ;) .

only more rumours which the internet forums spread! supposedly the car hit a verge then went airbourne then collided with a car but no-one was injured and the car owner's brother was driving (without insurance) etc etc.. Then we hear plod wasn't involved. Amusing.

I have sold a few pics,well it would have been rude not to ;) but I have kept a serious eye out for Evotechnik.net through all of this,every pic allowed to enter the public domain from me has got the E/T link with it.I think it must be the most viewed thread ever on here :D .Thing is with accidents we see the good the funny and the very ugly,most of it is kept quiet but on the odd occassion a few cars pop up that are unique like this one and make posting it up for all to see worthwhile.It sort of balances out the bad stuff if you know what I mean,not all accidents come to us without serious injuries :( At least everyone escaped without serious injury just battered pride is at stake.

All my pictures were of the car on the road.We didn't take any of it being loaded.Word got around pretty quick but I posted the first 2 pictures on here for everyones viewing,which was probably a miscalculation really,but you live and learn right.Anyway I did allow pics to be posted as long as they linked to Evotechnik.net,which was a major coup for us I think.I could only take these pictures as although we were called initially it got cancelled on arrival.So no data protection issues for me then,I became a bystander :D . and then hence your piccies :D :D
