Hi Roy,

can you PM me a price for a cat back Eisenmann and Supersprint exhaust systems for a '00 328Ci?

Also, which of the 2 is quieter? And how much more noise over stock?

Cheers,

Raj.

Hi Roy,

tried to post a reply to your PM but inbox was full so....

Would you say the Eisenmann is the quieter of the 2 systems?
I really want something that is only slighty louder than stock.

Also, what sort of warranty comes with the 2 systems?

Cheers again,

Raj.

SORRY 'BOUT that raj , i have emptied my inbox now .

The eisenmann comes with choice of 3 sound levels , the quietst is just above the factory exhaust , the middle option is about 4 db louder and about equal to the supersprint system . the race level is obviously loudest .

most customers opt for the middle sound option

supersprint comes with 1 year and eienmann 2 yr warantee

also eisenmann is all stainless inside and out , the supersprint is not

Cheers for that Roy.

Will be in touch shortly to probably order an Eisenmann System. Do they have rolled tips and is it cat back?

Cheers again,

Raj.

no problem Raj .

no rolled edges i am afraid Raj ; but can offer you soundpipes to go with to essentially make it cat back

Eisenmann thin slash tips is a classic [cool ...much more aggressive than rolled tips without going overboard.

Nick those pics have just sold it to me. I have just added the sport kit to my ride so those pipes do look the biz.

Roy, you mentioned soundpipes, how much would I be looking at for cat back system then with the lowest increase in sound over stock (PM me)?

Cheers,

Raj.

just an idea dude but since you dont want no real increase in sound. Also people are always saying no real increase in performance. Why not go for just the tips?. Cut and weld thing [hmm.

Sorry if i missed a basic fact sumwhere but im thinking of getting the tips later on so just thinking why i shouldnt.

That does look seriously [cool Nick. I really did convince myself to try and do as little as possible when I bought the coupe. Oh well, who needs savings :D :p :D .

Looking at the photos does the soundpipes remove a centre box from the system???? And will this again increase sound levels a tad?

Afif, the reason I want as close to stock is that you will get an increase in the exhaust note but just a very subtle one that will enhance the overall sound of the car. Also, having SS from the cat back will also mean that I shouldn't really need to ever have to change it while I own the car.

Cheers,

Raj.

Dude, like the name suggests they are sound pipes. Hence they increase sound. But you really have to hear them, then you can chuck that close to stock sound concept out of the window. Eisenmann exhausts do not drone. They are quiet during cruising but when you put your foot down......waheyyyyy [cool [cool

SOD full page adverts , Nick is all I need !! :D

Raj , nick etc are right , if its a quiet exhaust you want then leave out the sound pipes etc .

Yes you can weld the eisen pipes to OEM box , but last time we did this it still ended up around £210 ( not as simple as it may seem ) which seems a waste to me . Far better i feel to get a complete eisenmann back box , that way you get a new exhaust , nicer sound and a bit more power !

Raj , if your 328 is a M52 engine ( single pipe going into rear of your back box ) , then you are in luck as I have a spare eisenmann with twin 83mm tips here , middle sound level ! Usual retail is £430 , yours for £340 if you want it .

However if your 328 is M54 engine ( twin pipes into rear ) then I would have to order a new one to be made , this i can do for £415 ( retail is £490 )

let me know

all the best

Well peeps, I have ordered the Eisenmann (after a lengthy chat to Roy, cheers dude :) ), but the lowest sound level with different style tips to the one that Roy had to offer at a very wicked price.

So I will just have to wait a few weeks now before it is delivered/fitted :D .

Cheers again for all the replies.

I think youll find the lowest level a bit too quiet. I have the Race with sound pipes and im also having the front 2 resonators removed tomorrow :D

Raj

If I do find it to be too quiet then I can always ditch the middle box for a sound pipe :D ;) .
