Hartop Trim Update

Hi Guys,
Dropped a post on a few weeks ago when i put the hardtop onto the car. At the time the trim on the hardtop was shadowline whilst the rest on the car was chrome.
After a quick chat with forum member speed we agreed a swap.Bmw wanting a almighty £300 plus for the said items.Anyway after a lot of help from my good friend Individual One (cheers again old mate) here is the result. All coments welcome good or bad.
I think it is spot on and thanks again to speed for the swap and condition of the trim.

Alpina always has a more traditionalist approach on styling and although I prefer black trims on most cars however the chrome does compliment the car's colour and styling pretty well

What colour is the car and is that a cream interior...must looks great in the summer with the hood down.

Mud the trim is pretty easy to remove however i did have the help of Individual one who is very handy.
Mits the car is Individual Velvet Blue with Lotus White Nappa Leather. I love the colour combo. Would like a newer Alpina but cannot find any combination as striking as this though.

I prefer the shadow trim but have to say that looks spot on. It really compliments the rest of the car and fits nicely with the Alpina theme. :cool: :cool: :cool:

Glad your happy with it and it was well worth doing. The black trim matches the trim on my car so i'm more than happy. One tip for anyone replacing the hardtop trim is to make sure its sealed correctly. Mine wasn't and after a heavy night's rain i came out to a wet interior, easily fixed tho.

looking good mate, never been a fan of the chrome trims but that suits the rest of the car, tones in well with the alpina stripes!
