Hello all,

Just had my car lowered 40mm all round on FK shock and springs.
Im happy with the way the back has dropped cos the arch is near the wheel, but the front dont appear to have dropped as much and has a bigger gap.

Is this a common look of 40mm drop all round? (il try get pics when its light)

Do i just need to let the front settle?(does it actually take longer ot settle?)
What can i do to bring the front down? i.e. lowering caps and stuff.

THanks all.

Most lowering kits drop the front less than the rear. For example Eibach do diferent levels of spring for different ride hight, if you wanna drop it lower at the front, you have to get lower springs.

Depending on what springs you used. I have no experience with the FK springs. If you really want the front to drop, Eibach Sportline :)

Also, make sure the springs are properly seated on the front shocks. You need to make sure the spring ends fit into a stepped reccess on the spring perch.

Pics of your car would help :) If it's an E36, most aftermarket springs don't lower the front much. Probably it's a illusion as the rear tucks a lot more under those smaller rear wheel arches.
