M3 Bumper, something missing?

Spotted this bumper on ebay.....

looks fine apart from something appears to be missing from all the way along the top?

that would be the number plate holder and the rubbing strips either side.

Yea the plastic trim is missing as above, it comes in 3 parts (if you can make it out!) shouldn't be much from the $tealer!

and what are my chances of finding the numberplate holder on the cheap?

yea that looks like it. I would email the seller and check as the way that reads to me it is all 3 parts (the number plate holder is just the centre section)

yeah I e-mailed him asking exactly what it consisted of! :)

just gotta make sure If I get the bumper, I get the trim or neither. I don't wanna get saddled with the trim if I don't get the bumper, lol!

just to let you know that standard bumper trims will not fit on the m3/sport bumpers

so you need a set for the m3/ sport bumpers

i think they are about £15 each from the dealer

yeah, I assumed that would be the case. The trims on e-bay are from an M3 anyway, but it's just the one side and no number plate holder. The rest got trashed as it's from a car that's just been written off

just got a reply from the guy and it turns out to be someone I know
