Please could you guys give me your thoughts on this car and also could you give me some info on running costs of these, eg servicing, MPG, Time between service intervals.
Also am i right in thinking there is a major service around 30-40k that costs an arm?

Use the search facility, there's plenty of pre-purchase advice on here for M3s and there's a thread on the go right now about mpg - there information is there if you look.

The first Inspection service will be at a guideline of 30k, but if you drive it 'properly' that's more likely to be nearer 25 than 30 as the adjustable intervals will bring it down with harder use. If you're looking at the top car on the page you linked (which is a very reasonable price indeed - some may even use the word 'cheap'!) then it's way past that and probably just had it's 45k oil service done - the next major service will be the Insp2 at a guideline of 60k (although if the car's been driven hard then that'll be nearer to 50k, so check cos you're looking at just under a grand for that one and it may be why the car is priced a bit competitively).

My insp1 is on the 30th of this month and my car will be just under under 25k miles.

Nick did a post about running costs on his M3, I can't be bothered to look but it was over a considerable amount of time so is probably quite accurate.

Shuriken.
